Canarm expands eastern Ontario manufacturing facility

Brockville, ON – Canarm has moved into their final stages of expanding one of their eastern Ontario manufacturing facilities. In recent years, they have doubled their HVAC production area at the facility located at Parkedale Avenue, Brockville, Ont., to 100,000 sq. ft.
The new expansion will add an additional 90,000 sw. ft. to the existing structure in two phases to be completed over the next several years. Phase one, which began at the end of August 2019 will see the addition of around 57,000 sq. ft. Phase two allows for the addition of 32,000 sq. ft. as required.
The first addition will be used primarily for warehousing so existing space can re-focus on the manufacturing of the commercial/industrial HVAC products produced at the Brockville Center of Excellence facility, reports Canarm in a press release.
“Brockville is HVAC – we have great people and expertise that we need to put more building around to serve our customers better. We continue to re-invest in assets that are valuable to our customers,” said Jim Cooper, president and chief operating officer for Canarm.
Canarm is a privately owned company that has been in business for over 80 years.
